Mandatory Data Collection: As required by C.R.S. 24-21-519, we must collect and record your full name, address, and a description of the identification credential presented (e.g., Driver’s License number) in our notary journal.

Use of Data: Collected information is used strictly to perform the notarial act and maintain the legally required notary journal. For Remote Online Notarization (RON), audio-video recordings are stored securely for 10 years as mandated by Colorado law.

Prohibition on Data Sale: Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-21-514.5, we are prohibited from selling or sharing your personal information with third parties for any purpose other than completing the notarization or as required by law.

Colorado Consumer Rights: Under the CPA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to opt-out of data processing for targeted advertising (though we do not engage in such practices).

Data Retention: Notary journals and RON recordings are retained for 10 years from the date of the last entry, after which they may be destroyed or transferred to the Colorado State Archives.
